Breakdown
Our original vision started off as an endless arena that focused on fighting robotic enemies with a rudimentary weapon. Aesthetically I suggested the Idea of Greco-Roman architecture meshing with neon lighting and visual distortion.
This evolved into a neon lit club with Roman architecture that the player can explore and fight futuristic soldiers. We decided that our weapon of choice would be a bow and that the gameplay would be an infinite arena that allows the player to continue for as long as they can survive.
Due to time constraints and Itch.io's size limitations we were unable to introduce any assets to bolster the aesthetic vision. We did manage to make use of Quixel materials that I customized to fit the structures I built.
Optimization
I went through the process of setting up proper lighting with a focus on optimization. I also tweaked the project settings for the sake of optimization.


After making these adjustments I made use of the editors console commands to determine my fps and adjusted my max fps to see my performance limitations.
